Adding tools, sharing, creating, and backup are always free. Pro makes widgets update faster and lets you have more of them.
Free includes:
Pro: no limit on widgets, dashboards, home screen widgets or credentials; each widget updates as fast as its tool allows; reminders keep up with your widgets; and you can use Sync across devices. On Android you can also turn on Live monitoring for reminders.
Over the free limit: Free keeps only the first 6 widgets updating (in dashboard order, then in order within each dashboard). The rest show "Paused", and their data stays. Drag the ones you want to the front, or delete ones you don't need, and they start updating again; getting Pro resumes them too. Extra home screen widgets show "Free includes 2 home screen widgets".
Free trial: accounts that have never had Pro can try it free for 7 days. In Me › Membership, tap "Try Pro free for 7 days"; you'll need to sign in. When it ends you go back to Free, and you won't be charged.
If you bought Pro on the App Store or Google Play, sign in to the same account on your new device or after reinstalling, then tap "Restore Purchases" on the Membership page.
