Server notifications from tools

RemindersAll platforms

Some tools have their own servers and can notify you the moment something happens, usually within seconds — for example, Claude Code Usage can tell you when your AI coding assistant is waiting for your approval. This differs from a regular reminder: reminders rely on your device checking on a schedule, while server notifications are sent by the tool's own server when the event happens.

Off by default. A tool can send you notifications only after you turn them on in its page and choose Allow in the panel that appears. Each tool needs your permission separately.

To turn them off, open Me › Reminders and tap Turn off next to the tool under Server notifications. It can't send you anything after that. The section doesn't appear until you've allowed at least one tool.

Each notification title says which tool sent it, and a tool can't use another tool's name. Tapping the notification opens the matching page in that tool.

Currently available only on iPhone, iPad, Mac and the Android app installed from Google Play. HarmonyOS, Windows and the Android app from other app stores don't have it yet; regular reminders keep working there.

Not receiving them? Check that Numable is allowed to send notifications in system settings and that your device is online.

PrivacyThe text is written by the tool's server and delivered through Numable's notification service and then Apple's or Google's push service to your device. Our servers keep only the device push token needed to deliver and which tools you've allowed. They don't keep the notification content, and none of this is linked to your account.
LimitsEach tool can send at most 6 notifications a minute and 60 a day.
